M. Sc. Tom Baumgartl
About
Tom Baumgartl is a research assistant in the Field computer science, associated with the University of Cologne. For his studies in computer science at TU Darmstadt, he received in 2019 the Bachelor of Science degree and in 2023 the Master of Science Degree. Both the bachelor thesis and the master thesis dealt with topics for the visualization and visual analysis of medical data. The bachelor thesis received the “Best Thesis award” at Fraunhofer IGD's Computer Graphics Night 2020. Furthermore, one of his works was awarded the “Best Paper Honorable Mention” at the IEEE VIS 2020.
